2006
In a few hours time, 2006 will be over... time really flies... before u know it, 1 year has already pass by so quickly... I would say 2006 is a very mixed year.. there are lots of blessing and at the same time some hard to imagine things happened... which I hope they will be over soon and everybody will be healthy and happy... here is a summarise recap...
January
Beginning of the year I went HK with BL, SP, Linda, QH and Shir.... wouldn't really say its a really fun cos I fell ill over there... and its the first time I fall sick overseas.. so I didn't really enjoy the trip much.. but i still wish to go back there some other time... maybe during their start of their autumn during their summer sale... :)
Shortly I came back, I caught chicken pox from i-dunno-where... and as a result I don't get to spend my CNY.... while everybody is eating bah-kwa and all the goodies, I can only stay at home and drink tonnes and tonnes of water chestnut... :( but under the care and concern of my family, HIM and friends I soon recover and survived the 40 days diet and rush back to eating chicken... :P
February
Feb is a busy month at work... we shifted office and from the 10 days MC i got work have piled up.. so time pass by in a breeze.. before I know it, its already March... :(
March
Nothing much happened in March too.. continue by routine of work and falling sick.. think this is the year that I took the most MC.. not only for the chicken pox but also the flu that come along the way... :(
April
In April, I got really hooked onto FM100.3「２５３０的幸福」... find the stories that they mention is so close to real life.. was listening to it everyday... Also helped HIM out in Feng Fei Fei concert.. its the first time I work as a crew in a concert.. didn't garbra much since I didn't have much work to do... And also not to forgot the funny MJ game I had at HIS place.. i was on continuous winning streak.. its the first time such thing happen to me.. and it has been a long long time since I won in a MJ session... :P
May
In May, I bought myself a set of wireless keyboard and mouse after some of my keyboard keys start to get faulty.. the keyboard has been with me since 1999... its a good 7 years le.. and its time for it to retire... and I'm very happy with this new wireless one.. :P and oh, I also picked up earring making in that month.... but till date I'm still very lousy at it... must learn to make nicer ones so I can give it to my friends as Xmas gift next year... :P
oh and I did another concert with HIM again... and this time i garbra until CMI... anyway wat is more important is what I saw for that "cockroach".. think this is one of the best thing that happened for the year.. :P
June
June is a peaceful month.. things pass by in a breeze as I'm looking for my overseas trip in July... :P
July
During July something big happened.. I tendered from a company which I have been working with since my grad from U... U could say its a mixture of both impulse and accumulated dissentment with the company... so I just quit without first finding a job.. a risk to take I admit.. and besides I'm flying to TPE a few days after I tendered...
The TPE trip was fun... Went with BL, Linda, QH, Shir, Nic, Flo, SH and HIM... its the first trip out with HIM... and some of us attended the FFH concert too... again the concert was much better than the first FH we caught in TPE... :)
August
Lucky for me, I found a job soon after I'm back from TPE... and started work at the new work place in the last week of August... so finally I'm out of my comfort zone and venturing into a new area... :)
September
Went for the long waited Ah Yue and Wu Bai concert at the start of the month... although Ah Yue performance was as good as compared to the last time at Concert By The Bay (maybe due to the death of his friend), still the concert was good because of MC Hotdog and Wu Bai... dunno when they will be back again for more concert?
October
Went for my facial trial and sign up a package with them... and this set me back my a lot of $ and there goes the money for my travelling.. :')
November
Attended the wedding of an ex-colleague.. I see their development of relationship so i'm really happy that she has finally found her one and is moving on to the next step in their life...
December
A month of celebration... with my birthday and also ABC concert exactly on that day... the concert was okie but more importantly after the concert I realise I have move back to become a normal fan.. which I'm happy about.. i no longer crave to go to the AP... I no longer have the urge to go supper after that.. I finally can leave them alone.. after verbally saying it for 2 years.. I have finally done it.. no longer trying to decieve myself or others... there is no point... :)
also attended Wakin concert... and the proposal that happen during the concert, although its staged, its still very sweet.. :)
and of course not to mention all the xmas celebration and going to the sentosa and zoo after donkey years... spend really good time with HIM and my friends during this period... :)

A Fan No More???
When Aud SMS on xmas day with a merry xmas and a countdown for 4 days.. i took sometime before I found out what the count down is for... yes tomorrow is the release of mayday new album... if PR didn't mention it, i prob wouldn't even remember that it has been a good 2 years since their last new album (excluding compilation).... and yet i'm not excited... didn't even have the tot of wanting to rush down visma tml after work just to get the album....
and that day when the comic was available at Kino i was there... but i didn't even notice that the comic is out... actually i totally forgot that the comic is about to be release... but still i will try to get it before the year end since there is a 20% discount for members... don't want to waste the discount...
i surprise myself with the nonchalant.... is it because i'm no longer a fan??? well if u tell me they are coming for a concert i probably will still be one of the first few to rush down and buy the tixs... but if u talk about their albums and merchandises i'm just so-so..... i wonder wat changes me? age? them? or maybe i'm too engross in celebrating the holidays that they overtook the feelings for md?? who knows and who cares....

Xmas Celebration @ BL Place
Spend my xmas eve and xmas morning at BL place... playing of course MJ... hahahahha and having a little pot luck.... Me and HIM decide we will cook chilli crab for the rest since that time we bought a chilli crab paste thingy from the previous food fest...
So on theory I'm suppose to reach his place at about 7am so his mum can help us select the crab at Sheng Siong... but HE was out the previous day and only reach home at 3+am.. so obviously he was lack of sleep and decide meet later and we will select the crabs on our own... so i reach his place at about 11+... and after having some breakfast we set off for Sheng Siong.. but there were only a few crabs left... and it doesn't look good.. so we decide to head to NTUC and try it out... so over there we bought about 5 crabs weighing only 1.6kg... (by the way, anybody know where to get bigger crabs?) and we also bought another bottle of white wine to go with the crab....
once we reach his place... we start the preparation work... first was to kill the crab... and to clean them... it actually wasn't so easy cos we dunno which part is the "edibles" one and which are the dirty one initially... so we took some time trying to figure it out.... then we have to prepare the rest of the ingredients (cos we realise that the chilli crab paste has been used up)... and again i was tasked to do the simpler tasks like squeezing the lime... and soon all was ready and we started cooking.... and by the time we finish it was about 4pm...
so he took a bath while i clean up the place and we rested a while before heading over to BL place.. as it was raining we took a cab there... and while on the way, Puah called and ask what time we reaching and says that pple over there are complaining that they are hungry... so when we reach we tot we could start eating.. but end up? ST haven't cook her spegs... and SC pepper chicken is also not cook yet.. but she say is quite fast.... and they were playing MJ lor....
so ST and SC got up to start cooking while i helped SC play and HE helped ST... in the end ST realise that she doesn't really noe how to cook the spegs and got Puah to help her out... in the end the spegs was actually cooked by Puah lor... and they took so long that I start complaining that i'm hungry... hahahaha.. who ask them to complain that i'm late... and didn't start cooking while i was on my way there... :P
and finally after some waiting we get to eat dinner!!! and I didnt' make SC lose money.. so heng ah... the kai lan stem that we cook was quite nice... the chilli crab the meat a bit to fluffy which we didn't understand why.... the spegs was okie... the black pepper chicken is nice... the soup by BL is good just a bit too oily... all in all we enjoyed the food...
so after dinner we started playing 小氣大財神.... dunno wats that? please go watch the variety show.. a bit too complicated to explain here... anyway for some reason BL was the first to lose... and HE really hit her hard... so much so that BL got angry and wanted revenge.. but who knows the 2nd to lose is BL also... following that BL finally make HIM lose and it was a sweet revenge... she hit him hard on the feet...will post up the fotos later... So in the end only BL and HIM lose... so we were just standing there watching them play revenge... hahahaha...
This is poor CM who got hit... btw the reaction is real...

after that was MJ session... Puah gotta leave first cos he has something on.. so on the MJ table was Poh, BL, ST and HIM.... in the end of that round we won $40 (cos we only play 3,6 half) and ST buay gum wan... so she requested for a shang shu... but poh was tired already.. so he didn't play and end up I share with SC and ST played alone cos in the previous round SC and ST were sharing... and in the end we won $50 BUT its from HIM... so in the end I didn't take any money back... :( but still my luck was really good that day... got a few times hua shang... and a few times the cards were not so good but i manage to draw good cards in... which feels really shuang... :P
and we unknowningly cross over the xmas at the MJ table... until someone realise its already 12:15am.... anyway we left BL place at about 3am... and hitch a ride from ST and SC... and after we reach home we head for the bed.... and its zzzzzz.....

Happy Boxing Day...
Happy Boxing Day!!!! Much to my sadness *cry* gotta work on boxing day... *sighz* but still gotta come here and show off my presents for the year... *smile* :P

And now the breakdown... Got the above from the mafians... Chris gave me a horoscope book, a pooh tamagotchi from QH, a pooh photo frame from Linda, a photo / card clip from Jean (who mistakenly think we were 1 year older.. :P) and a clothes bag from shir which will come to good use when we go travelling... :)
And these are from my colleagues... not a lot since we are only a small group at ST... and mainly is food... :) but i really like the magnet clip from FT.... its cute...
And Ah Jo bought me a cook book much to my surprise... Cos she thinks that I cannot continue cooking just my schrimp with eggs... i need more variety... hahahaha... okok must find time to try out some of the things inside... :) but think they need oven in most of the cooking... so can i request for an oven as my next year bday / xmas present? :P
And I got these from Sis... Its a pooh bear push light and a small tin of pooh cookies...
And these are from SC... an aparon and a soft toy speaker.. exactly what i bought for shir... :P but nice to receive it myself now that I got a zen neeon.. :P and the aparon belongs to HIM anyway... cos he likes cooking...
And these is from BL... Its a massage rod.... One for HIM and one for me.. the lady pig is so much cuter... :P
And this is what I got from HIM... Dunno what is it??? its okie look scroll down further and you will know...
Yupz... its user manual... after being make fun by Ah Jo with a "digital camera"... i really got a digital camera from HIM as a bday gift.... so being so broke after the gift.. he decides to wrap the user manual (in front of me and using my wrapper) and give it to me as my xmas gift... ><|||
anyway I had a fun xmas.... will post up the activities that happen over the weekend later.. meanwhile Happy Boxing Day!!!
