My mind is in a whirl now... just receive a job offer this afternoon... i didn't expect to get the job... in fact I went to the interview just to try my luck and get some experience in interviewing... and when I see that there is actually a technical test, I tot i won't be able to get the job for sure.. cos my java sucks... but who knows they actually offer me the job on the spot....
I can see that they desperately need people.. hence the reason why they offer the job to me immediately... i can see that the job is going to be a super stressing one... probably even have to work over the weekends, holidays and festive seasons... which means "no life"....
seriously speaking... if i'm going to work towards the goal as a Project Manager.. i think this job will give me enough exposure to it... besides its a project by project basis.. which means i get to work on "new" projects on and off.. unlike now where there is never ending to one project... but the stress.. will i be able to handle it?? the "no life" scenario.. will it be back???? can i accept it???
if i don't accept the job.. then what is it that i'm looking for... an easier life? life is never easy working in the IT line... if i opt for an easy life then i'm looking for jobs that are mainly for maintenance... which will imply that working is going to be boring.. or is it??

if you are planning to be a PM, i would suggest that you do your best to attain the PMP Certification.
i had attended the course which cost around S$3K, and am now saving money for the certification (the exam cost US500 thereabout)...but it's more globally recognised...the catch is you need to constantly update PMI to maintain your PMP status.
thanks! will check it out... :)
