Today is really a happy day... First I switch off my handphone last night.. determined not to let any phone calls disturb my sleep until i wake up this morning.. hehehe... so i had a good night rest.. waking up feeling good... cos i noe of the events coming up the day.. hhehee... after i woke up.. went to do my household chores and wait for my dad to pick us up to go to the IT show and Hong Xing (yes.. hong xing.. finally after like 3 weeks... hahahaaahaha)
The journey to the IT show was uneventful until we are outside suntec... there is a jam.. and everybody is queueing to get into suntec car park.. particularly the convention center one.. my godz... and dad was cursing and swearing about the traffic... and this driver who think he is very great driving a benz (dunno why benz driver always think they very big... everybody have to give in to them...)... when we finally get into the car park.. there was no lots although the carpark was not full... we went quite a few rounds.. and finally got a lot thanks to the carpark attendent of Suntec... who allow us to use the "repair" lots...
then here comes the "kua zhang" part... the IT show is suppose to start at 12pm... but when we reach there 10 mins before 12.. the place is already pack with pple... all waiting to "chong" in... lucky my sis smart enuff to get her colleague to get her inside before the show start.. else i think the queueing is like duhz.... so when the door open.. everybody chong into the hall.. aiming particularly i think the Starhub and Creative booth... horrible queues... so my sis is 3rd in the queue for Starhub... but we bloody hell waited for like about 20 minutes in the queue.. cos starhub is sooooooo smart... it get a lot of staff to work at the front desk to do the processing.. but only have 1 bloody laptop to check out the user's records... so took bloody long to process... this is so smart of them... but finally i get everything done with and get my new cable modem and my XBox redemption letter.. yes 1 week later i will have an Xbox lying in my room.. waiting for a TV to join it... hahaa.. (my dad has agreed to let me has his TV while he take mine.. just to let me play XBox.. haha.. thanks dad.. although i noe u can't see this.. =P)
after which i walk over to show my dad the Canon Viewcam... he has been asking me to go look.. he interested.. so i purposely bring him there to say.. so after some phsycho-ing by the sales we set on this MVX250i... but dun dare to buy yet.. cos dunno if sis got cheaper lobang from harvey norman... so we went down to check with her as she is downstairs waiting to swap our cable tv set top box to a digital one... she make some phone calls... and conclusion is IT show will have more freebies so can buy.. okie up we went to buy the viewcam... purposely leaving my mum outside to read her papers.. (else she sure nag)... so now the baby is beside me charging its batt.. hahaa.. i can put it to good use in April... 18X optical zoom.. hmmm... there is one 22X zoom but the quality is lousy so i opt for the better quality one... =P
after all this queue-ing and buying we left suntec at about 2pm... and make our way to Hong Xing... and i finally get to eat my Dim Sum.. yum yum yum.. some of the food is not really fantastic cos its cold already.. think we came too late.. the dim sum ends at 3pm... so a lot of food shld be sometime ago liao... but i had MANGO pudding to end the meal.. hahaa... yum yum.. yesterday is MANGO beancurd... today MANGO pudding... hahaaa... someone must be very angry when reading this... hehehehe...
then my dad drives us home on the way i bypass Queenstown library... i haven't seen the library for about 8 years liao... last time is in secondary school... i mean memories just flood back to me.. i remember the first library i went is Queenstown library.. my mum brought us there... there were so many memories i have with the library... but nvr got a chance to go back there anymore... we also bypass tanglin halt market... another place full of memories.. i use to go there when i was in sec 1 and 2 as its just behind my school.. i remember the Fried Hokkien Mee and ice-kacang is really really goooood.... hmmmm yum yum....
when i reach home.. i set up the new digital set top box... and my modem.. the set top box took me sometime but the modem is so simple.. just plug it into my wireless router and tata its there... so the first thing i test is to download OK'La.... super fast.. hahaa.... so shiok....
now i'm suffering from a headache.. not sure if its because of the hectic.. or because of the wireless.. shld not be the wireless cos opic also use wireless but is okie.. so shld be okie bah... anyway an enjoyable day.. can't wait to lay my hands on the view cam... and next week my Xbox... muaahahaaha.. =)
