Having miss class last week because of my sis wedding, and for not having anytime to practice, I'm back to 0 again. At least this is wat my instructor said.. he is so encouraging... *bleh*
again class started with alternate stroking.. following which is something i hate most.. the sub-division. have to play 4 crochets, sub-divide to quavers and then sub-divide again to semi-quavier... with my semi-concious state i keep sub-dividing wrongly.. and when he stare at me, i panic and it came out worst.... so he say after missing 1 lesson i'm back to the 0% again.. no profit... *roll eyes*
the new thing we learn is the double stroke with groove.. hahaha.. actually i also dunno wat to call it.. but generally is to 2 strokes but not flat strokes but with some groove in it... so far tat seems okie...
but our ultimate demoraliser is the 2pm student (sorry i can't remember his name so he shall be known forever to me as the 2pm student)... he has already complete the double stroke with groove long long time ago and is already playing that on the high-hat... and this week he proceed on with the other drums... sighz... *walk away sadly and find a place to dig a hole*
