Chope

Thanks to a customer that choose to put her stack of A4 paper on the phone cable.. thereby causing a strain and subsequently lost of internet connection... i was down at orchard road at 1+ today...

Because of that... i get to see pple putting up xmas deco for Shaw Istan and orchard road itself... i also saw the deco for Centerpoint.. which is M&Ms....

And thanks to her... i manage to get this free tissue pack:

Interesting advertisement by the new food court... In case you are not from singapore or not from my era and dun understand wat "Chope" means.. basically its singlish.. its pronounce something like "cho-ope".. similar to another singlish usage of "chop"... e.g. I chope the place already.. so the place is mine...

Anyway... this chope tissue pack as you can read from the big wordings it says "Opps... Sorry, Got here first..." and there is a row of smaller wordings below that says "The practice of using tissue pack to reserve your table is uniquely Singaporean!"...

This is so sarcastic.. but i like it... am i guilty of it?? ermm.. not in tat sense.. cos i normally at least have a friend sitting at the table waiting rather than just leaving some tissue paper or umbrella to represent me... i'm not so cheap....
