2005

Have been wanting to post this a few weeks back... but i tot i shld really wait till the year end before i proceed... 2005 is an eventful year for me... alot of things happen.. some good, some bad... some happy, some sad...

Friendship
2005 is a year of friendship for me and is the thing that pops into my mind most often... For some friends we have turn better, for some we have grown apart. Maybe because as we understand each other better we find that we did not see eye to eye in matters... as the chinese saying goes 因了解而分開.... but watever it is a friend will forever be a friend to me... maybe we are not cut out to be doing certain things together, but i'm sure there are other ways we can still enjoy the friendship... and also wanna wish all my friends a happy and good 2006...

Mayday
This year is also a year of Mayday... firstly because they came to SG for really alot of times this year... 2ndly i even went overseas to "see" them... First in Jan, went to TPE to watch Final Home TPE which i really regretted going. Than the very day we arrive in SG, we rush down to the "Alive Concert".

Following in April, we have the NKF event at J8 and the next day at Mediacorp... that is really a memorial experience as i see Mayday fans unite as one to 對抗小人... and also how we cheer along not only for Mayday but for other artiste as well... i will always remember the thumbs up which Emil gave us...

Than in May we went to KL to watch the anti-drug concert... that was a bad experience too.. the weather, the crowd and the waiting time were horrible.. but nonetheless its always fun with friends around...

August they came for "Concert By the Bay"... i must say that is really one of the best outdoor free events they had in SG that I have went.. it was really really good... particularly after the TPE and KL trip i really really appreciated the event and was glad it was right home in SG. And during this concert they announce the SG FH date, and that starts the long 4 months wait....

2 mths later in October, they came to promote their album at Orchard and also the concert tix sale at J8... its the first time i watch them from the side... although i can't see all of them but its really a different experience.... having for the first time to see Yanming play... and also to see how Shijie sings... and better of all I enjoyed because my friends are there....

1 month later in November, Ashin came for SHA... i went for Emil but I got more than wat i expect... to see them collect the best album production award... i nvr expect them to get it... i remember the moment we hear its them we just hug together and cry... you may think we are over doing, but with all the "boyband" thingy going around I'm just glad that to a certain extend their work has been recognised...

1 month later, SGFH... 10 December 2005.... a concert tat i will nvr forget.... if you ask me details of the concert i can tell you i can't recall most of the things liao... but i will nvr forget the enjoyment i get during the concert... the atmosphere... i must say the audience that day was really good... and even i think mayday themselves were in good form that day... and best of all? i'm with my friends again at the conert.. there is the good "old" Ah Jo who has accompanied me for all 3 of their concerts in SG.... and also my newer friends....

In 2006, i will be seeing lesser of mayday... which is a good and bad thing... with them coming lesser i have more time to do other things... i can save more $$ and also i have less things to trouble... but i miss them.. or rather i miss their performance... i wonder when is their next concert in sg.... maybe in another 2 years time bah....


Drum
Finally get to play on a drum this year.. the first time in my life... although i have always like the drum but i nvr have a chance to hit on it.... i'm still very lousy in terms of the playing and i forever can't keep my tempo... plus i'm super lazy to practice... but i still want to keep this going... its such an enjoyment... i wonder when will i have the place and money to buy my own drumset....


Travelling
Its a year of travelling too... went to TPE in january.. just 2 months after i came back from it... hahaha.. although alot happen but i still did not regret the trip... the crepes, mian xian, noodles, chuan shao, etc, etc, etc....

than in may i went to BKK with my sis... its been a long time since i last travel with her... as usual we quarel.. but we are sisters we make up easily.. heehee... and best of all i'm travelling with friends too....

shortly after the BKK trip i went to KL with the mafians... i can only say the bus ride at night almost kill me... its so boring and i could hardly sleep... and there wasn't much to buy in KL.. or probably we din't have time to go to the correct places

After KL i went bintan on a company trip... our BBQ was disatreous... have to end up use the microwave.. lucky we have tat around... else we have to survive on the cup noodle... and i also played the Banana boat for the first time.. but it wasn't really tat fun since its a rather big one...

Somewhere there i went BKK on a busniess trip... this is the first time i travel alone overseas.. and to make things worst to BKK.. a place which I could not speak their language and a place which i think is not so safe... but all went fine and i'm back safely in SG... but i really wanna say its no fun travelling alone... i felt so lonely at night with no one to talk to and no tv to watch... and the next day i have to take breakfast alone while waiting for MBK to open...

Concert
Yeah i was saying how much money i have donated to Sistic this year... Leaving TPE FH aside i literally was at some paid concert from Sept

Sept was "Snow Wolf Lake". I must say Jacky Cheung is good... its just a pity the other female lead is not Kit Chan....

Oct was "Beyond The Story Life"... i'm very impress with Ah Wing.... they way he plays the drum like he is in total enjoyment...

Nov was SHA and Cheer's concert... both are memoriable... having to hear Qizhen sing live is really an enjoyment and hard to come by experience... I remember I almost cry when i listen to the first song... i just hope she will come to SG more often to stage a concert... and btw she is invited as the special guest for FH in a china city... how come its not SG???

Dec was of course SG FH... nothing else to say but its the best concert i have attend this year... its not that Qizhen is not good.. but in terms of enjoyment, SG FH is better...

Books
I used to buy books.. but not as 恐怖 as this year... it all started from my first TPE trip i bought "Undo"... and from there i start to like pictorial so i bought a lot back from my 2nd trip to TPE in jan... than with the making of my kino card i'm bound to be there and go home with a big bag back whenever I know they have members 20%.... but i nvr regret spending so much on books.. yes i may not read them again in the future.. but the moment when i'm reading it i find the money well spend...

Sis Wedding
Finally she got married this year... like Ah Jo anticipated, I was the one who miss her the most... I remember the first few nights were hard to pass... everytime i lie on bed i will think of her.. think of how we always talk at night before we fall asleep.... think of how sometime i will be awaken by her snoring...

i'm just glad that her flat is so near ours.. that she comes home literally everyday... but i'm still seeing less of her.. cos i'm doing OT... when i reach home she would have gone home already... but this is part of life and i'm have to get use to it...

although i miss her but i'm happy to see her blissfully married... feel happy for her that she manage to find my BIL... i envy them... :')

Blog
Blogging has turn into a habit for me... i update my blog literally every working day... hahaha.. it seems that when i'm not working i don't have the time to blog... and also everyday i will login to see the blogs of my friends... through blogs i get to know them better...

That is all I can remember now for 2005... i hope 2006 will be a better one... for me, my family and my friends....
