Chicken Pox

Some random thoughts or things that happen because of Chicken Pox.

The day i fell sick
The day i fell ill was on saturday... i was out for my drum class and subsquently went shopping for the CNY... you all think i must be crazy.. feeling sick already still went shopping... i must first clarify i din't noe i was down with CP than.... and i must really get my CNY clothing tat weekend else i will be "topless"... so now that i have my top but 英雄無用武之地... hahaha....

so when i reach home i was feeling totally sick... i felt feverish and my gastric is feeling really bad as i din't have much solid food for the whole day... i just put down my things change and climb into bed... mum and dad wasn't asleep yet... dad came to me asking me to help him read somethings i told him i wasn't feeling well and ask him to leave me alone... he ask me wat happen... than he and mum start to nag about me going out when i'm not feeling well..

well in a normal day i would probably has lost my temper.. cos here i am already feeling very sick and you are still nagging away.. but that day i din't... i just lie in bed trying to ignore everything... maybe i was too sick.. or may i have grown up cos i understand the meaning behind those nagging...

while they are nagging away they are also working... mum start hunting for the thermometer and pills... dad start helping me close my window so i don't get the wind... and waiting for my temperature measurement.... and i was on high fever (38.3 degree C) tat night... so they wait and saw me eat the pills.. put the potty beside me incase i need to puke at night... help me top up my water bottle... left the thermometer beside my bed with a glass of water for me to wash the thermometer in case i need to take my temperture again in the middle of the night....

i'm really touched.... tat is parents for my generation... they nag and nag.. scold and scold but you know deep down they care for you....

At the Clinic
I was at the clinic the other day waiting to see the doc for my C.P... it was a good 1+ hr wait and "alot" happen in the clinic... i was there with my sis who was nice enough to be waken at 9+am on a sunday morning by my mum to bring me to the clinic in case the doc is a male... (thanks sis! i'm touched! really).... and dunno why the clinic i go to treat a lot of kids... i was very afraid to cough inside the clinic cos i'm afraid i will spread my CP to them....

anyway, while in the clinic looking at the kids I ask my sis when she is going to have a baby so I can play with it... (hahahaa)... i told her she is not getting any younger... its time she conceive now so 10 mths later she can have a year end baby... besides she can just make it for the before 30 mark... hahaaaa... she told me she can't imagine herself being a mother.. the responsibilities and all... and wat if the kid is super naughty? she can't imagine having to chase after the kids and worst still she can't imagine turning into an "auntie".... i told her not all mothers turn into "auntie" lor... besides her MIL can help her take care of kids.... and its better to do it now when she is younger than to wait for later... but she remain unconvince... looks like i have to work harder to make her have the tot... hahahaaa... :P

and we also saw this family... the mother was with 2 kids... a child about 7 to 8 years old and a toddler about 4 years old... they were sitting outside waiting for their number to be called.. when i first saw them i tot so poor thing the wife have to take care of two kids at the same time and bring them to the clinic... the husband must be working so can't accompany them... who noes later the husband appear pushing the baby pram and push it to the wife and told the wife he going "upstairs" (the clinic is in a mall)... not at all bothered about helping the wife take care of one of the kids... when i saw this i was damn angry.. feel like giving the husband a tight slap on the face... i mean WTF you have the responsibility too you know... its a clinic, shouldn't you at least bring the healthy child with you rather than throw everything to your wife???

i tot i was the only one looking at them but i found out my sis is also "watching"... she commented that wat happens if my BIL is like tat... i told her won't lah... from wat i see he probably won't... but she say when she go shopping my BIL would be like tat.. sian sian kind standing outside the shop... but i told her shopping and going to the clinic is a different story.. if he really do tat tell him off when they are home.. i think my BIL will understand.... and seriously if my future husband is like tat i think i will flip...

I told her the story about 男人的無奈.... and we both agree that BF / HB are not good shopping mates... so i told her i always believe in the theory that nvr go shopping with them... shopping are meant for ladies friend or sisters only... you can go shopping with them.. but not them with you... hhahaahaa....

"Don't scratch"... thats the word that i hear or read this few days... thanks to all my friends and of course my family members who are concern about me.. i'm really really very touched!

some of them joke and luff at me for not being able to enjoy CNY... and being confined in the house.. but behind the jokes i hear the concern... thanks.. really....

some afraid that i'm bored pack me books and newspapers... thanks.... really surprise to see the books in my laptop bag... thanks thanks....

some offer to bring me books and DVDs but really i have alot to read and watch.. just maybe not in the mood... but its your tot that counts... thanks really really...

some kept me entertained by msn, sms or email... thanks really... its so "boh liao" to be grounded at home for at least 10 days... sighz....

some nag and scolded me for getting CP during CNY period (hahaha.. tats obviously my parents)... but still continue their act of concern while nagging at the same time... thanks mum! thanks dad!
