Contact Lens Scare

I just scare the hell out of myself... This is what happen...

I was felling discomfort from the contact lens in my left eye... so i went into the ladies and decide to take it out and wear it again... I wet it with some tap water (which i know i should do because its bad for the eyes and lens... but the lens is very dry and looks dirty and i'm to throw the disposable lens after today.... and i'm knocking off soon.. so no harm trying..) and try to put it back into my eye...

I put it in.. but i blink and blink find tat how come my vision is still blurred.... then i try rubbing my eyes to let it fall into place.. but still its blurred.. i wanted to take it out only to realise its not inside... i din't feel the contact lens drop... so frantically i start looking around the toilet... it was not at the basin.. neither is in on the floor... did i accidentally flush it down the basin when i wash my hands???

Another colleague happen to walk in at this moment.. so i got him to help me check if my lens is inside my eye... which by now is already quite red from the irritation... he say is not.. and i look frantically around for the contact lens again... and still i can't find it... i have a feeling the contact lens has gone to the "back" of my eye.... i try rubbing but still can't see a thing.. pek cek i took out the other side and decide to let my eye rest....

i make a fone call to HIM.. and he says that if it really went to the back of my eye.. i should still be able to see part of the contact lens... and i let my eye rest a while and i went back to the toilet to try see if i can see the lens... and true enough i tot i saw something at the top right.... but i'm not sure if it is really the lens... i close my eyes and gently push my eyelid hopefully the lens will move down.... and i open my eyes again to check... and relieve rush over me... the "thing" is moving so it has to be my lens... and i continue to try to push it further down.... but it seems a bit slow... then i decide to use my hands to push directly at it... but after touching i find it too disgusting.. decide to go back to the original eyelid method... and FINALLY after a while the stupid lens came out....

it really scare the shit out of my... must be extremely careful with my lenses next time.. and to bring my small bottle of lens solution to put in office... don't want such scary incident to happen again...
