Went to the Energy event at HabourFront just now... I admit i'm not big Energy fan although I have almost all their albums. I went this time because of the news tat they MIGHT be dis-banding after this album.. or i shld say they are going to take a rest while Ah Dee recover from his backache... truely speaking, i was kind of like disappointed when they only sang 1 song and went straight into the autograph session... i went like huh? all this wait for just 1 song? Lucky MD is not like tat.. if not.. i will faint... and of course they din't manage to finish signing everybody's album, and those who din't get it sign will have theirs done on Sunday... anyway tat is the part about energy...
the next interesting thing cruz teng... he is the MC for the event... seriously speaking, i'm not a big fan of his... and i actually don't really lookup to him.. because although his shows sometime is quite funny.. but i find that he still needs to brush up on his interview skills... but anyway my view of him has improved after tonight... i mean person wise... his interview skills still needs improvement...
our first encounter with him happens when he is at first floor and we are at 2nd. Linda and Me were going to the toilet and we look down over the railings and realise that he was just below us. So we shouted his name. At first he din't hear it.. or probably he did but not sure where the sound came from... So finally he looked up and saw us... we wave to him and he give that blur look... i think he is thinking are we waving to him or are we shouting at Energy... both linda and me luff when we saw his look and step back from the railing... then we decide to go take a look again and he happen to look up again... we wave at him again... and he wave back still with the awkward look.. i really wonder wat is he thinking then...
then our 2nd encounter was nearer... we were standing at the left of the stage.. linda wants to take a pic with him.. but he walks around toking to others but nvr came near us... so when he was resting at the front of the stage i wave and wave to him.... and finally he acknowledge with the raise of an eyebrow.. (cos i think he scared we are waving at energy again.. but energy is actually out of our view at tat point)... so after some talking he sat down.. and i continue to wave to him and he look back.. i then motion for him to come over.. then he shake his head and motion tat he very tried... then i point at linda and did the take photo action.. then he motion okok give him 5 minutes... so i say ok ok... so after a while (less then 5 minutes) he walk over...
i took a picture of him and linda on my x800 (even ask wat model is my handphone..) cos QH cam out of batt at this time.... then we start to hala to him.. linda ask how come he not going back for show.. then he say he took leave to take this job... then linda ask how come leh.. then i quipp must be this show earn more.. he luff luff say yeah.. then we all say, yah like tat can buy more LV.. and he luff.. then we hala somemore and we even help others take photo with him... and when he went back i thank him for coming over.. and he thank me back.. which makes me a bit puzzled... anyway really thanks to him and sorry for bothering him to come over and entertain us when he is so tired...
he is cute i shld say.. very truthful person and not fake... so at least tat is something good about him... i think if he could brush up more on his skills he shld have a brighter future.
